I have realised recently that tumblr is an extremely efficient, albeit slightly flawed, way to spread information and i have seen the overwhelming support towards many social issues on this website. it is now that i ask of you to watch this documentary. i am aware 1hour is a large amount of time for many, but consider what you would be doing otherwise. Tibet is the home of my grandmother, yet she never was able to set foot in it. Her mother, my great-grandmother, walked from Lhasa to India in 1910 when the chinese military presence was felt. This issue is extremely close to my heart, and i implore upon you to please, please, watch this, share this, raise awareness in your area. The chinese government is systematically destroying Tibetan culture. Their attempts to blame H.H. The Dalai Lama for the inevitable uprising of the Tibetan people is an insult to all Tibetan Buddhists. While the in modern day society many view h.h the dalai lama as a celebrity of sorts, he is much much more than, for us he is the holy incarnate and to be deprived of the ability to worship him is just another example of the chinese totalitarian regime. please, please, i beg of you watch this, reblog this, demand that the governments of the world to stand up to china and stop the destruction of tibet.
